Just found this one! Forgot to post the other day…
Well, at least that’s how it feels temperature-wise!
I left the kids with my parents on Wednesday in Flagstaff and went back to see my husband and work for a couple of days and drove back up with the husband last night. The highs in Flagstaff were in the 80’s, Phoenix has been 106-110 or so, and now we’re in Sedona, the highs here are low 90’s.
And I am sure you’ve heard of the “dry heat” of the desert, well, our mountains are the same. I expect the 90’s to be just beautiful.
While I was home the kids have been golfing–mini & at the driving range. They’ve been swimming at least once a day & playing lots of games with Nana. No clue what is planned in Sedona, but I am sure it’ll be fun.
None of us have spent any real time in Sedona before so it’s a big adventure! I can tell you that the drive in was beautiful… I have seen it before & there are photos of the red rock famous world wide, but seeing it again first hand is almost breath taking–makes me wish I brought my real camera instead of my camera.
